| ESL Council |
| The ESL Council is served by up to 15 Directors elected by the Membership at Annual General Meetings. |
| The Directors of the ESL Council meet every 4-6 weeks to discuss Estate business and vote on a wide variety of proposals. The
Council is often split into working groups to focus on specific issues eg maintenance and parking. In-between meetings, these groups work on their individual
areas, bringing relevant proposals to the Council meetings. Contractors will be hired to carry out the ongoing maintenance and security of the Estate as
agreed by the Council. |
| ESL contracts two individuals to undertake the Company’s administration and bookkeeping. |
| The Company Secretary is responsible for keeping the Company’s statutory records and filing reports with
Companies House; administering meetings; dealing with all Company correspondence and administration, including the collection of membership subscriptions
and record keeping. |
| The Treasurer ensures the correct running of the Company finances, monitors cash flow and investments and
provides a monthly report to the Council. In addition, the Treasurer also keeps the Company Books and prepares Annual Accounts. |
